Superdrug gets ready for Pride 2018 with mini-documentaries
Superdrug is to launch a “Beauty Without Bias” campaign to promote diversity and inclusion in the beauty industry in the run-up to International Pride Month in June.
The health and beauty retailer has collaborated with vlogger and beauty influencer Salih Cikikcioglu to produce a series of mini-documentaries exploring issues affecting the LGBTQ community.
Created for Superdrug by The River Group, the five mini-documentaries will go live on the SuperdrugLoves YouTube channel from 17 March, with the final going live in June for International Pride Month.
In addition, a series of Pride makeup tutorials will feature on Superdrug’s YouTube channel in May to show viewers how to create bold new looks for the Pride celebrations. Content on the series will also be included on the SuperdrugLoves social channels as well as on the retailer’s Superdrug.com blog.
