Skin Cupid to launch K-beauty UK pop-up tour this summer
K-beauty retailer Skin Cupid is to launch a Summer Roadshow of pop-up events across four UK cities.
Running from 28 August to 20 September, the tour will stop in Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and Birmingham, marking the first time the retailer has hosted a physical event outside London.
Each pop-up will showcase six Korean beauty brands including Anua, Purito Seoul, Kundal, Mixsoon, Manyo and Dear Klairs. Drawing inspiration from Jeju Island, the volcanic island off Korea’s southern coast, the immersive spaces will celebrate not just the products but also the culture behind K-beauty.
Subscribe to TRBAt the heart of the roadshow is Skin Cupid’s limited edition Jeju Island Summer Tote, which will be available exclusively at the pop-up for £15 and will be filled with five free travel size K-beauty items.
Melody Yuan, founder and chief executive of Skin Cupid, said: “The Summer Jeju Roadshow is our way of creating joy and giving love back to our community. Instead of asking them to come to us, we are bringing Skin Cupid to them, in the major cities where so many of our Cherubs are based.
“More than anything, we wanted the Roadshow to be a way of telling these cities, very clearly, how much they mean to us, while bringing some joy alongside a few of our favourite products from the brands we cannot stop talking about.”
Skin Cupid will be running pop-ups in the following cities;
Manchester: 28-30 August, Manchester Arndale
Edinburgh: 5 – 6 September, St James Quarter
Leeds: 12–13 September, Briggate
Birmingham: 18–20 September, Bullring
