Rituals to land in Liverpool

Rituals, the luxury bath, body and home brand, is to open its first store in Liverpool at the city’s Liverpool ONE shopping destination as it continues its expansion across the UK.

Due to launch next year, the 1,700 square foot shop will be situated on South John Street and will sell the brand’s range of skin and body care items, as well as scented candles and fragrance sticks.

The store has been designed by an in-house team.

Penny Grivea, managing director for UK & Ireland at Rituals, said: “Rituals is truly committed to growing its UK retail presence and Liverpool ONE forms a key part of this expansion. We have wanted to extend our reach in Northern England and Liverpool ONE’s continued high footfall and sales, as well as its variety of choice and complementary operators, makes it the ideal destination.”

Liverpool ONE has seen almost 270,000 square feet taken for new or enhanced space since January. New entrants include the likes of  Bershka, Gordan Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen and David M Robinson’s OMEGA franchise boutique.

Alison Clegg, managing director, asset management, Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, added: “We work continuously to enhance our offer, anticipating and satisfying the evolving needs of our guests with best-in-class brands such as Rituals. Operating in the ever-growing wellness industry, Rituals is a great addition to Liverpool ONE and further demonstrates the popularity of the destination for major retail brands. Over the course of the year we have shown there is very strong demand for physical retail space, and Rituals will compliment our diverse offering.”
