Urban Outfitters expands board

Urban Outfitters has expanded its board from 10 to 11 by appointing Kelly Campbell as a director.

The owner of the Anthropologie, BHLDN, Free People and Urban Outfitters retail brands said the appointment will strengthen the board’s digital marketing expertise.

Campbell is currently president of Peacock and previously served as president and chief marketing officer of Hulu, where she played a key role in accelerating the company’s growth. Prior to that, she spent more than a decade at Google where she held a variety of leadership and marketing roles across the Google Ads and Google Cloud businesses.

Richard Hayne, chairman of Urban Outfitters, said: “We are delighted to have Kelly Campbell join our board as an independent director, She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience about marketing and subscription businesses which will help inform our digital strategies.”

Other brands within the group include FP Movement, Terrain, Nuuly Rent, Nuuly Thrift and Menus & Venues.
