Thortful teams up with RSPCA on Christmas cards and pet-friendly cookbook

Greetings card marketplace Thortful has teamed up with animal welfare organisation the RSPCA to create a collection of charity Christmas cards.

The partnership will include Thortful giving the RSPCA 5p for every A5 Christmas card sold and £1 for every card sold from the RSPCA Christmas card collection.

To raise awareness of the partnership, Thortful has worked with digital marketing agency Connective3 to create a Christmas cookbook featuring a selection of pet-friendly festive recipes. Dishes range from Festive Veggie Wreaths for guinea pigs and Kitty Christmas Cookie bites for cats, to Mini Festive Puddings for dogs.

Filled with hand-drawn illustrations from Thortful’s in-house design team, the 52-page book is available as a hard copy and will be sent to a range of celebrities and influences with a brief to make some of the recipes and share them with their followers.

Andy Pearce, chief executive of Thortful, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with the RSPCA for their Christmas Rescue. Like the RSPCA we truly believe that the animals around us deserve our care – and we know our customers agree too. So we leapt at the chance to pitch in, raise funds, help create the exclusive card collection, and spread the word. Our team, customers, and creators, are all behind the charity to help keep their Animal Rescue Teams on the road this Christmas.”
