Poundland to open new stores in St Helens and Sheffield this weekend
Poundland is to open new stores in Sheffield and Merseyside’s St Helens this weekend.
Situated at Ravenhead Retail Park, the 8,000 square foot St Helens store will sell the retailer’s full range of merchandise and PEP&CO brand clothing for all the family. It will also feature a dedicated PEP&CO Home department with the latest 2022 ranges including kitchen storage options, faux plants, bathroom accessories and soft furnishings.
Poundland director of retail Darren Kay said: “Our colleagues are working hard to make sure that the new St Helens store will show off Poundland at its best and be one town can be proud of. It will offer customers the amazing range and value they have come to expect from Poundland, including our fantastic PEP&CO clothing and homeware, which is more important than ever when household budgets are under so much pressure.”
Meanwhile Poundland is also putting the finishing touches to its new store at Sheffield’s Meadowhall Retail Park which will be its second new opening in the city this year.
Spanning 10,500 square feet, it too will offer PEP&CO clothing and a dedicated home department.
Kay added: “We’ve already got a strong presence in Sheffield and we’re delighted to be adding to it with our new Meadowhall Retail Park store. It complements our new Sheffield Heeley store and our other locations around the city. The new store has been designed to show off Poundland at its best and like all our stores it will offer amazing value to help our customers as their household budgets feel the squeeze.”
