Miniso to open new store in York on 28 August

Miniso is to open a new store in York this month as it looks to benefit from the city’s status as a major tourist destination.

The new 101 square metre retail space at 40 Coney Street will launch on 28 August.

The shop will offer Miniso’s signature mix of vinyl plush, blind boxes and plushies, beauty and lifestyle accessories. There will also be exclusive merchandise from brands such as Hello Kitty & Friends, Sylvanian Families, Pokémon and Disney.

To celebrate the opening, the first 150 customers who spend a minimum of £5 will receive a goody bag valued at £25.
