Jollyes expands to 129 stores with Mansfield opening

Jollyes Pets is opening a new store at Oak Tree Centre in Mansfield on 16 October.

The store will stock brands such as Pedigree, Whiskas, Harringtons and Felix, alongside specialist pet brands including Royal Canin and Hill’s. It will also offer Jollyes Pets’ own-label ranges, including Lifestage for dogs and cats and Optimum Pet Health.

Shoppers will also find a selection of raw food and natural treats, as well as toys and accessories.

To celebrate the opening, Jollyes will be offering customers 100 limited-edition goody bags and the opportunity to spin Jollyes’ Wheel of Fur-tune for a chance to win prizes. Jollyes’ mascot, Jolly, will also meet and greet visitors, as the celebrations continue on Saturday with an entertainer in store.

The official opening will be marked by Craig Whitby, deputy mayor of Mansfield, cutting the red ribbon alongside special canine guests Hazy, Juke, Ozzy, Jimmy and Buddy. The dogs will attend on behalf of the NFRSA*, Jollyes Pets’ nationwide charity partner.

The store will create seven jobs for the local community and will be led by store manager Sam Newbold, who said: It’s brilliant to be bringing Jollyes Pets to Mansfield and giving local pet owners a new place to discover great value products for their four-legged, feathered and furry friends.

“Having spent 12 years managing stores, I’m excited to get to know our new team and customers. As a pet lover myself, with two dogs, Bruce and Toby, and two rabbits, Flin and Albert, I know how important our pets are to the family.”

The opening means Jollyes Pets will have 129 stores across the UK, with 12 new locations opening since January and a further store set to open in Dunfermline on 5 November.

In July, the company announced plans to double the size of its store estate over the next five years as it reported 8.7% annual revenue growth.
