John Lewis Partnership appoints former Tesco Bank CEO to John Lewis Finance board
John Lewis Partnership has appointed Gerry Mallon as a non-executive director of John Lewis Finance, a regulated subsidiary of the John Lewis Partnership that oversees John Lewis Money.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in financial services, Mallon is a former chief executive of Tesco Bank, Ulster Bank Ireland and Danske Bank. He currently serves as chief executive of financial services firm True Potential and a non-executive director of Heart of Midlothian Scottish football club.

John Lewis Money plays an important part in the partnership’s retail strategy with its offer including insurance, credit card, and point-of-sale payment options. The partnership said its recent move to an FCA-authorised and regulated insurance and credit broker will help it deliver a stronger insurance offering for customers.
