JD.com to introduce express delivery service in Europe to support Joybuy
JD.com, China’s largest retailer by revenue, is to introduce its dedicated JoyExpress delivery service in Europe to support its new Joybuy online retail business in the region.
Currently in the beta testing phase, JoyBuy is expected to fully launch in Europe in March.
With the JoyExpress teams based in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and France, the service will offer same-day and next-day delivery in major cities.
Subscribe to TRBThe JoyExpress team will deliver in branded uniforms and vehicles, with the fleet including a range of trucks, vans and electric bicycles, operating from more than 60 warehouses and depots. In addition, a JoyExpress integrated delivery and installation service for large home appliances will be available in large cities.
JoyExpress is underpinned by JD Logistics’ proprietary technology and integrated services, including large-item delivery and installation, cold chain, and end-to-end supply chain management.
