iCandy appoints Cath Needham as head of sales

Pushchair brand iCandy has recruited Cath Needham as head of sales.

With 30 years experience in the nursery sector, Needham has joined the business from Swedish stroller company Emmaljunga where she was country manager. She has also previously worked with BÉABA and Artsana Group.

At iCandy, she will be responsible for leading the overall sales strategy alongside managing and developing sales department.

Martin Boyle, managing director of iCandy, said: “We are delighted to welcome Cath to the team here at iCandy. She brings a breadth of unique sales experience which we know will prove invaluable at an incredibly exciting time for the company.”

A fourth generation family run business, iCandy was established in 1933 as fashion design and manufacturing company before later moving into the world of nursery products.

Needham added “ iCandy combines the very best of ground-breaking design concepts with a true understanding of their end consumer, and I am really looking forward to helping the business to achieve further success both within the UK and internationally.”
