Waitrose welcomes Dan Walker as Weekend columnist

Waitrose has welcomed Dan Walker as Waitrose Weekend’s newest sports columnist.
The presenter, sports pundit and Strictly Come Dancing quarter-finalist will be sharing the role with Clare Balding and will see his first column published on 17 March. He joins a roster of well-known columnists and contributors at Waitrose Weekend including Chris Packham, Alvin Hall, Ritulah Shah and Mariella Frostrup.
Commenting on his new role, Walker said: “I’m really excited about it. I’ve covered every sport under the sun during my career – I’ve done Wimbledon, the Six Nations, World Cups, rowing, golf…I’m looking forward to bringing all of that to the Weekend audience.”
Waitrose Weekend is available for free in Waitrose shops and on the retailer’s website.
