Pret hires former Lidl executive as chief supply chain officer
Pret A Manger has appointed former Lidl executive Stefan Porter to the newly created role of chief supply chain officer to help drive global growth.
Porter has been working for the last four years with Azzurri Group, the owner of Ask Italian, Zizzi, Coco di Mama and Dave’s Hot Chicken, where he was group commercial director. Before that, he spent eight years at Lidl, most recently as senior buying director where he led multiple buying divisions.
In this new role, he will oversee the supply chain, logistics, buying, technical and sustainability functions.

This week, Pret announced that it is trialling a new drive-thru format in Warrington as it continues to expand in travel locations.
