Little Cooks kicks off fundraising drive
Little Cooks, the children’s cooking delivery service, has kicked off a new fundraising initiative through the Growthdeck network.
The company is seeking to raise £750,000 in advance of it trialling a “HelloFresh for kids” concept.
Little Cooks offers a cooking subscription service for children which includes providing monthly boxes of affordable home baking and cooking activities to help families engage with healthy eating.
Founded in 2017 by Helen Burgess, a former senior strategy adviser in Government, the company will use the funding to develop a digital platform that aims to put children at the heart of the meal-planning process and address parental pain points around meal planning, recipe inspiration and fussy eating.
The fundraising is part of a wider £1 million round in conjunction with Velocity Capital Advisors.
