Cornish Bakery expands senior leadership team

Cornish Bakery has expanded its senior leadership team by strengthening its board and operational teams.

The move has seen Ralf Goad join the board as finance director and Stephen Evans-Wrobleski promoted to the role of director of commercial operations.

Goad previously worked at Risk Capital Partners, Quilvest and Ernst & Young, whilst Evans-Wrobleski was previously head of operations at Cornish Bakery and prior to that worked with  Whitbread.

In addition, Jen Rowlands has been appointed to the position of head of operations after rising through the ranks from the role of bakery manager. Meanwhile Alice Leach has joined the business as bakery innovation manager and Tina Dicks, who has worked with Cornish Bakery for over 20 years, has been promoted to operations excellence manager.  A final appointment has seen Victoria Lintern promoted to the role of head of human resources.

Cornish Bakery said more positions are being created in property, human resources, training and across new bakery openings.

The company’s founder Steve Grocutt said:  “We are constantly on the push for growth, but always retaining a strong culture and independence.  To keep exceeding all targets, I’ve brought an enhanced team of experienced innovators and leaders into the business, as well as recognising and promoting our in-house talent.  Together with our colleagues across our bakeries, this committed team is focussed on going ‘pedal to the metal’ right across the UK.”
