Booker announces changes within retail senior leadership team

Booker is investing in its retail customer proposition by making changes within its retail senior leadership team.

The UK’s largest wholesaler and owner of Budgens, Premier, Londis and Family Shopper is combining its teams into a single dedicated retail sales team, led by Martyn Parkinson.

Booker said the move will strengthen its existing team’s ability to support independent retailers with the right symbol group offer.

The retail proposition will be led by Stewart Fenn, who will be responsible for developing and evolving the end-to-end customer offer across all of Booker’s symbol groups.

He will also oversee the wholesaler’s forecourt business, spanning regional, independent and national accounts.

Colm Johnson, managing director of Booker Retail, said: “Both Martyn and Stewart have a wealth of experience across Booker and the convenience landscape.

“These changes will allow us to best support independent retailers across local communities, ensuring they are well set up for success now and in the future.”
