Zalando appoints new SVP of corporate development

Zalando has bolstered its senior leadership team with the appointment of Padmaja Bommareddy as senior vice president of corporate development.

Bommareddy is joining Zalando from Walmart where she helped lead the apparel omnichannel strategy.

Zalando said she will bring a global perspective to the role following her experience of working across Europe, Asia and the US. Her CV also includes stints in senior roles at EVRYTHNG, RM Williams, Gap and Burberry.

Zalando co-chief executive Robert Gentz said: “We are delighted to welcome Padmaja to our team. We are looking forward to working together on exploring new opportunities to further elevate our services and offerings and grow the company.”
