Sunspel to open Edinburgh store
Sunspel is to open a new store in Edinburgh next month as part of the luxury menswear brand’s UK retail growth.
Situated at 44 George Street in the city’s historic New Town, the shop will be Sunspel’s tenth UK site.
It will offer the brand’s full menswear collection, including the Riviera Polo Shirt, the Classic T-shirt and Scottish-made knitwear.
Sunspel chief executive Raul Verdicchi said: “We’re pleased to be opening in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland and an important city for the brand. George Street’s mix of heritage and modern retail makes it a natural home for Sunspel.”
Subscribe to TRBFounded in 1860, Sunspel is known as the maker of the world’s first luxury T-shirt which is it still makes in its factory in Long Eaton where the company has been based since 1937.
The new store will open on 7 August.
