Tala to open first store outside London at Edinburgh’s St James Quarter
Tala is to open its third UK store, and first outside London, at St James Quarter in Edinburgh as it enters its next phase of growth.
The news follows weeks of teasing about a new opening on the activewear brand’s social channels, which had customers speculating on where Tala would land next.
Subscribe to TRBTala has previously opened two stores in Carnaby Street and at Westfield White City.
Building on learnings from the London locations, the Edinburgh store will showcase the brand’s full product range while offering an immersive brand experience with personalised service. The new shop will open in November.
Sally Hughes-Daniels, Tala chief executive, said: “The success of our Carnaby and Westfield White City stores has proven our retail model and it’s now time to build on this success.
“Expanding beyond London has long been in the works, but for our first step outside the capital it was so important that we found a location that felt a natural fit for Tala, and Edinburgh ticks every box.
“We already know we have a great Tala community in Edinburgh, and the city’s strong outdoor and active culture makes it the perfect place for us to put down roots.
“Bringing Tala to women all around the UK is one of our key goals, and we’re looking forward to Edinburgh marking the start of that IRL journey. We can’t wait to meet more of our community in person and become part of this historic city.”
