Sosandar swings to profit as revenue climbs by 14%

Sosandar has swung to profit in the year to 31 March 2026 following a jump in revenue.

The women’s fashion brand increased its revenue by 14% to £42.3 million as it delivered a “consistently strong” trading performance throughout the period.

It also expects to report a pre-tax profit of £0.4 million compared to a loss of £0.1 million in the prior year.

In its trading update, Sosandar said its own website performed particularly well in the period with an uplift of 24%, driven by increased traffic, improved conversion and increased order volumes from both new and existing customers.

It also remained one of the top-selling brands across its third-party partners, including Next. Trading with Marks & Spencer has gradually resumed following its cyber incident, with stock intake now back to expected levels.

Giving an update on its stores, Sosandar said its store estate demonstrated a positive uplift in the year, with each store now in its second year of trading.

It added: “As expected, stores continue to weigh on overall profitability until they mature, particularly those in shopping centres.

“The company remains focused on driving profitability from each individual location and does not anticipate any further new openings for the foreseeable future.”

Looking ahead, Sosandar said its board is confident in its strategy and said “the foundations are in place to deliver sustainable, profitable and cash-generative growth”.
