Simply Be teams up with Hirestreet on first rental collection

Simply Be has teamed up with Hirestreet to launch its first clothing rental range.

The collection comprises 23 womenswear pieces and includes some of Simply Be’s bestselling own-label occasion wear dresses from the current season as well as a bridal dress which currently retails at £220.

With sizes ranging from 10 to 32, customers are able to rent the retailer’s clothes on Hirestreet from £14 for four days.

Simply Be owner N Brown said the move is part of its wider sustainability strategy and will help extend the lifespan of products and encourage customers to embrace circularity.

Angela Gaskell, group sourcing, sustainability, quality and fit director at N Brown, said: “We want to move away from the make-use-dispose culture of the fashion industry and embrace circularity, where products are made sustainably, used for a longer time, and then re-used or recycled. We know our customers also want to be more circular, which is why partnering with Hirestreet is a really exciting step forward for Simply Be.”
