Russell & Bromley to join the line-up at Covent Garden

Luxury footwear brand Russell & Bromley is to open a new store in London’s Covent Garden this autumn.

The 3,461 square foot store will be situated at the junction of Long Acre and Neal Street. The move is part of brand’s development plans for the UK.

The shop will be spread over two floors and will sell Russell & Bromley’s range of shoes for  men and women.

Andrew Bromley, owner of Russell & Bromley, said: “Our new store had to be in a prominent location within Covent Garden and this corner unit, directly opposite the tube station, was an opportunity we had to secure. The plan is to launch to the public this autumn. This larger space will provide a great backdrop for our new seasons’ collections.”

The news follows the recent launch of a Boots concept store in the shopping district. In addition, Vans will be opening a store on Neal Street this summer.

Simon Taylor, property director of The Mercers’ Company, said: “Russell & Bromley is a well-established and luxury brand and we are pleased to be able to provide them with this prime retail space set in the heart of Covent Garden. They join a line-up of vibrant new retailers on Long Acre, all benefitting from the high footfall we welcome year on year.”
