Primark opens new store at Brooklyn’s City Point
Primark is continuing its expansion in the US with the addition of a new store at City Point in Brooklyn.
Following openings in two further New York locations this festive season, the fashion retailer now has five stores in the city.
Spanning 49,000 square feet of retail space, the store is Primark’s 16th in the US and is part of the retailer’s plans to reach 60 stores in the country by 2026.
Kevin Tulip, president of Primark US, said: “New Yorkers have been experiencing ‘Primania’ more than ever this season and we are so excited to add the City Point community to our growing family here in the US. The customer reaction to our four other NY-metro stores has shown that there is an overwhelming desire for Primark’s offering and price leadership and this location will allow us to bring that to an influential group of shoppers in Brooklyn and one subway stop away in Manhattan.”
