N Brown hires Sara Bradley as buying director

N Brown, the owner of the Simply Be, Jacamo and JD Williams retail brands, has appointed Sara Bradley as its new buying director.

Due to take up her role on 27 April, she will be responsible for the continued evolution and elevation of N Brown’s product offer as it looks to further elevate its fashion proposition.

With over 20 years’ experience in the fashion sector, Bradley began her career at the Arcadia Group where she worked her way up to become buying director at Dorothy Perkins. Her career also includes a stint as womenswear trading director at Debenhams and senior leadership positions at Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and George at Asda.

In her new role, she will report N Brown chief executive of retail Sarah Welsh.

Commenting on the appointment, Welsh said: “I am delighted to welcome Sara to N Brown. She brings a wealth of experience from across the fashion industry and is a truly passionate leader who shares our ambition to deliver unique and exciting product for our customers. She joins us at a really exciting time for the business as we continue to elevate our fashion proposition through our differentiated brand portfolio to make our customers look and feel amazing.”
