N Brown Group hires new director of supply chain
N Brown Group has hired Clare Empson as its new director of supply chain.
Due to take up her role on 15 January, she will succeed Phil Barnes who confirmed last year that he will retire in the spring.
Empson previously worked with Ted Baker for nearly 25 years, most recently as director of operations. Whilst there, she also held senior roles within the fashion retailer’s retail and transformation areas.
At N Brown, she will join the executive board and will be responsible for operations, distribution, workplace, engineering and facilities, as well as health and safety, supply chain MI, solutions, and logistics transformation.
N Brown said the appointment further strengthens its team as it continues its transformation to create a customer-first experience with technology at the core.
