Marks & Spencer makes two new hires within womenswear

Marks & Spencer has hired Emma Fox as head of buying for womenswear.

Due to take up her role in October, Fox will join the business from The White Company where she has worked as head of buying since 2020. Prior to that, she held buying director roles at Topshop and Asos.

In her new position, she will report to Maddy Evans who was promoted to the role of director of womenswear earlier this year.

Marks & Spencer has also appointed Annie Dore to the newly created position of business lead for womenswear, footwear, accessories and holiday.

She will join the retailer on 12 September after previously working in a head of buying position at New Look. Her career has also included stints at Dorothy Perkins, Dune and Primark.
