Mango to open flagship New York store
Fashion retailer Mango is to open a flagship store on New York’s Fifth Avenue as part of its omnichannel strategy in the US.
Set to launch in the first half of this year, the store will be situated in Plaza District and will have a retail selling space of nearly 2.100 square metres.
The flagship will stock the brand’s range of clothing for women, men and children.
The news means that Mango will have nine stores in the US following openings last year in New Jersey, New York and Miami.
Mango’s director of expansion and franchises Daniel Lopez said: “Having a store of these characteristics in one of the most prestigious locations and with the biggest footfall in the continent will allow us to increase our brand recognition, both in the American market and internationally.”
