LVMH names new chief executive of Bulgari
LVMH has appointed Laura Burdese as chief executive of Bulgari, effective from 1 July.
Burdese has worked with LVMH Group for nearly ten years, starting off as chief executive for Acqua di Parma then moving to the role of chief marketing officer at Bulgari in 2022. After leading a brand transformation, she was promoted to the position of deputy chief executive in July 2024.
In her new role, she will succeed Jean-Christophe Babin who has held the position for the last 12 years, although he will continue to serve as chairman of the Bulgari board, chief executive of the Bulgari hotel business unit, and president of the Bulgari Foundation.
Both Babin and Burdese will report to Stéphane Bianchi, LVMH group managing director and chief executive of LVMH Watches & Jewelry.
In a post on LinkedIn, LVMH said: “We wish Laura every success in her new role, and we thank Jean-Christophe for his leadership.”
