Kontoor Brands appoints new director

Kontoor Brands, the parent company of Wrangler and Lee, has appointed Ashley Goldsmith as a director.

Currently executive vice president and chief people officer of Workday, she will will also serve on the talent and compensation and nominating and governance committees of Kontoor’s board.

Prior to joining Workday in 2013, Goldsmith spent three years with Polycom where she served as executive vice president and chief HR officer and led leading the company through a growth phase. Before that, she worked for three years with Ventana Medical Systems, a division of the Roche Group, as senior vice president, HR, corporate communications, environmental health and safety. Her career also includes a stint at The Home Depot.
