Jigsaw appoints design director

Fashion retailer Jigsaw has appointed Julia Reimann to the newly created role of design director.

Previously working as the retailer’s head of wovens designer, she joined Jigsaw in June 2022 following two consecutive head of design roles at Stine Goya and Peter Pilotto.

In her new position, Reimann will report directly to Jigsaw chief executive Hash Ladha.

The news means that the retailer’s leadership team is now been fully formed, with Reimann working with John Cossey, merchandising and operations director, and Louise Long, who has been promoted to buying director. Jigsaw has also promoted Vicki Williams from head of people and culture to people and culture director.

Ladha said: “Julia will bring a beautiful feminine handwriting to the collection and will continue to elevate our proposition of timeless design, uncompromising quality with an unexpected twist.

“I am also pleased to recognise Lou and Vicki with their well deserved promotions to directors on the leadership team. It is a testimony to the great talent at Jigsaw that we can succession plan and promote internally, something which we are very proud of.”
