In The Style appoints design manager

Online fashion retailer In The Style has named Jocelyn Seeley as its new design manager.

Seeley previously held the same role at River Island for just over a year and, prior to that, was ladieswear design manager/head of design at Boohoo Group.

Since starting her career in 2007, she has also held design roles at Henleys, Visage, Spring Near East Manufacturing and Basic Thinking.

Reporting to In The Style founder Adma Frisby, Seeley will be heading up a team of five designers.

She told Drapers: “I am extremely excited to be joining In The Style. I’ll be leading a very talented design team and look forward to being part of driving the brand’s ethos of inclusivity and body confidence.”

In a trading update back in September, In The Style said it had made good progress in its long-term growth strategy which has included the launch of an own-brand collection called FITS and the move to a more efficient and scalable warehouse.
