H&M Group to close Monki stores as part of Weekday integration
Cheap Monday joined Weekday in September 2024, online and in selected stores. In a statement, the group said it is aiming is to create a “unique experience for the creative generation by offering a culturally relevant curation of brands through one evolving world”. Monki will be integrated into the Weekday platform in 2025, both online and in stores. As part of this, a limited number of Monki stores will be transformed into multi-brand Weekday destinations, while the others will be closed. The group said Monki will complement the Weekday offering, with a focus on creating the best value for customers. According to the H&M Group website, Monki has 56 stores in 15 markets.H&M Group is preparing to close its Monki stores as it looks ahead to integrating the brand into Weekday’s platform.
