Gant appoints new chief executive

Gant has appointed Fredrik Malm as its new chief executive.

Malm joined Gant in 2024 as executive vice president of commercial, brand and product. Prior to that, he served as chief executive of SNS and as president of Europe and International at Coach. Earlier in his career, he worked for over seven years at Ralph Lauren, most recently as president of sales EMEA.

Gant is part of MF Brands Group which also owns Aigle, Lacoste and Technifibre.

In a post on LinkedIn, Thierry Guibert, chief executive of of MF Brands Group, said: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Fredrik Malm as CEO of Gant.

“Having joined the House in September 2024, Fredrik has brought valuable and extensive leadership experience from global premium fashion and lifestyle brands, including senior roles at Ralph Lauren and Coach.

“I have full confidence in his ability to support Gant in its next phase of development, which will notably involve the continued elevation of the collections and an accelerated retailisation across both physical and digital channels.”
