Gandys opens new Covent Garden store

Gandys, the travel inspired fashion brand, has opened a new store in London’s Covent Garden.

Situated at 66 Neal Street, the shop will showcase the best of the brand’s collections, which include items such as waxed cotton bags and backpacks, weatherproof jackets, layering pieces and leather accessories.

The store also offers a selection of products from third-party brands, including Nalgene, Cocoon, Klippan  Kind Bag, Baggu, Sophos, Shepherds of Sweden and Union of London. An exclusive range of travel books will also be available.

Gandys also operates a foundation to provide children in some of the poorest regions with the educational support needed to get a better start in life. The first project was built in Sri Lanka where Gandys founders and brothers Rob and Paul Forkan lost their parents in the  2004 tsunami.

Today, Gandys invests 10% of every sale into the foundation and has raised more than £600,000. It is currently funding 10 major projects in eight countries.

Natalie Nelson, managing director at Gandys, said: “We’re excited to present our new Gandys store where customers can see the collections and learn more about how we support communities around the world through Our Foundation. We hope this will be a place where our community can connect and be inspired for their next adventure.”
