Clarks’ managing director for the UK, ROI & MEA steps down

Clarks’ managing director of the UK, Ireland, the Middle East and Africa has stepped down from his role, according to a report by Drapers.

Joe Ulloa joined the footwear brand as retail and franchise director of the UK and Europe in 2017 after a career working with Halfords, Snow & Rock Group, L’Occitane, Blacks Leisure and Gap.

Until a successor is appointed, Clarks’ chief executive Jonathan Ram will head up the UK and Ireland team.

A Clarks spokesperson said: “Clarks can confirm that after a successful period with the business, Joe Alloa has stepped down from his role as managing director for the UK, ROI & MEA and has left Clarks. CEO Jon Ram is leading the UK & Ireland team in the interim period as Clarks recruits Joe’s replacement.”
