Clarks launches first Cloudsteppers concept stores

Clarks is launching its first Cloudsteppers concept stores with a focus on the US and south east Asia.

The move builds on Clarks’ retail and digital growth across the US, Asia, Europe and the UK this year.

The first Cloudsteppers lifestyle store has opened in Malaysia, with another set to open there on 7 November. This will be followed by a launch in Texas in December and the opening of ten locations in Asia and the US in 2026.

Cloudsteppers is primarily known for its women’s flip-flops but also offers a range of sneakers, sandals and boots. However, the new stores will see the brand go beyond footwear for the first time  with the addition of t-shirts, hoodies, socks, caps and bags. It will also be expanding into athleisure next year with items such as leggings and windbreaker jackets.

Peter Quirke, Clarks VP of Americas retail, said: “Comfort technology is our obsession. We’ve engineered cushioning and ultra-lightweight innovation for decades – and we’re proud to make that comfort even more accessible through new retail environments and expanded lifestyle ranges.

“Launching Cloudsteppers as a standalone experience is a milestone we’re incredibly excited about, and there’s so much more to come in 2026.”
