Bang & Olufsen to open new store at Bicester Village

Danish audio specialist Bang & Olufsen is to open a new store at Bicester Village.

Due to launch on 12 December, the shop will feature the brand’s latest store concept.

Customers visiting on the opening day will be offered a complimentary ‘memento’ and all visitors in the first week of opening will be able to enter a competition to win a pair of the brand’s Beoplay H9 active noise cancelling headphones.

James Simons, head of retail UK & Ireland at Bang & Olufsen, said: “Online has changed the retail landscape no question, but we believe an omnichannel approach is key to delivering the best customer experience. Customers will want to see our distinctive designs, immerse themselves with superior sound performance and feel the rich materials that set our products apart, with expert guidance on hand to help them with their requirements.”

Bang & Olufsen will be joining a line-up of over 160 global brands at Bicester Village.

Scott Anderson, director UK & Ireland at Bang & Olufsen, added: “We are delighted to share the news of our new store in the year where we celebrate the brand’s 95th anniversary. The UK is one of our six core markets and strategically important for our growth strategy, and opening this new store indicates our ambition to continue to strengthen our presence, also in psychical retail, and further improve the experience for our UK customers.”
