JD Sports to launch first Cheltenham store

JD Sports is to open a new store in Cheltenham this weekend as part of its expansion plans.

The 11,000 square foot shop will be situated in the city’s Regent Arcade in a unit previously occupied by Topshop.

A spokesperson for JD Sports said: “We’re delighted to be bringing our first JD Store to Cheltenham. We look forward to providing shoppers with the best selection of sports fashionwear.”

Last month, the retailer launched a second store in Peterborough at the Serpentine Shopping Centre and a new flagship at Colchester’s Lion Walk shopping destination.
