Folli Follie enjoys 64% increase in sales over Christmas

Jewellery brand Folli Follie, part of the FF group, has reported strong Christmas trading with like-for-like sales up 64% in the five weeks to 31 December.

Trading in the UK was up 35% on the same period last year as the company’s flagship store on Regent Street increased its total sales by  160% following its refurbishment at the end of 2011.

Penny Grivea, UK general manager of Folli Follie UK, said: “Sales throughout December were outstanding. Our investment into the UK, our stores and customer service ensure we consistently deliver and are constantly driven by our customer needs and evolve accordingly.”

She added: “The strength of our strategic marketing activity has seen great results from dedicated customer events and targeted promotional activity, confirming our investment to become a destination fashion accessories retailer.”
