Moss to join line-up at Gloucester Quays

Menswear brand Moss is to open a new store at the Gloucester Quays outlet destination.

Due to launch on 4 May, the 1,948 square foot space will offer the brand’s spring/summer collection and its ’ Custom Made tailoring service. There will also be an expert team of local in-store stylists on hand to advise customers.

Brian Brick, chief executive of Moss, said: “This store is a celebration of everything Moss stands for today; modernity, diversity and accessibility. We’ve leaned into our 173 years of expertise to land our most modern tailoring offer yet, alongside a range of premium casual styles to form a really considered collection.

“We’re not just a suit brand that sells some casualwear or vice versa; Moss has transformed into a competitive menswear destination for both occasions and daily wardrobes, and we’re hugely excited to showcase this to customers in a key corner of the south west.”

Gloucester Quays has also announced that Skechers will be upsizing to a 50% larger store at the scheme. Set to open in June, the 4,500 square foot unit will be situated opposite Moss and Timberland.

Meanwhile, clothing brand Raging Bull has relocated to a 1,400 square foot space.

The flurry of retail activity at the Peel Retail & Leisure scheme follows respective uplifts of 11% and 7% in its sales and footfall from April 2023 to March 2024.

Paul Carter, asset director at Peel Retail & Leisure, said: “Gloucester Quays continues to be a hotspot for leading retailers, and the commitment of new brands like Moss combined with investment from existing tenants like Skechers, is testament to its sustained appeal as an established, top 10 outlet.

“Responding to consumer demand is of the utmost importance, and maintaining a refreshed, diverse mix of retailers plays a significant role in this, something we’ve championed for 15 years and no doubt why Gloucester Quays continues to perform.”
