Oliver Bonas selects Angel Central for new Islington store

Lifestyle brand Oliver Bonas has selected Angel Central for the opening of a new store in London’s Islington.
The 2,856 square foot space has been designed by the brand’s inhouse team.
Due to open on 11 May , it will stock the full range of Oliver Bonas fashion, homeware and jewellery items, as well as an extensive gifting selection.
The new store follows the closure of the brand’s previous space in Islington’s Upper Street.
Oliver Tress, founder at Oliver Bonas, said: “We’re pleased to announce our latest store offering of style and inspiration in the heart of Islington. This vibrant community is the perfect backdrop for our eclectic products, and we’re excited to share our unique blend of fashion, homeware, and gifts with everyone who walks through our doors.”
Oliver Bonas will join brands such as Uniqlo, Rituals, H&M, Flying Tiger and Kiko Milano at Angel Central. which also features a Vue cinema and The O2 Academy music venue.
Angel Central has reported strong first quarter trading in 2024, with like-for-like sales and footfall rising by 6.4% and 3.7% respectively compared to the same period last year.
Louisa Butters, head of retail asset management UK at CBRE Investment Management, said: “Angel Central has observed a very strong first quarter in terms of leasing and performance, and Oliver Bonas’ signing is evidence of this ongoing success. It is a brand which has been on our radar for quite some time and it’s fantastic to have them as part of our retail portfolio and deliver more variety for our visitors.”
