Victorian Plumbing hails strong performance

Victorian Plumbing has posted a 5% increase in full year revenue to £310 million after order volume grew by 6% to a record 1.1 million orders.

In the year to 30 September, average order value decreased by 1% overall but rose by 3% year-on-year in the second half of the bathroom retailer’s financial year.

Adjusted EBITDA climbed by 17% to £31.8 million although adjusted pre-tax profit decreased by 6% to £21.8 million.

Meanwhile, pre-tax profit rose to £15.1 million from £9 million in the prior year.

Tiles and flooring was one of the best performing categories with revenue climbing by 42% to £17.6 million following enhancements to the customer proposition. Trade revenue was also up, rising by 10% to £73.8 million.

The retailer said customers bought a higher proportion of Victorian Plumbing own brand products during the period, which brought own brand sales to 81% of total revenue.

Mark Radcliffe, founder and chief executive of Victorian Plumbing, said: “I am proud of the group’s strong performance in 2025, in which we achieved record revenues and continued to deliver on our strategic growth ambitions.

“We have further strengthened our market share, reinforcing our position as the UK’s number one bathroom retailer, while improving our marketing efficiency alongside our ever increasing brand awareness.

“Our new state of the art distribution centre enables us to fulfil orders more efficiently and supports our growth ambitions across our trade and tiles and flooring expansion categories.

“We have continued our strategic investment in the Victorian Plumbing brand and were pleased to soft launch the MFI brand and mfi.co.uk website in July.”

Victorian Plumbing said it has made a positive start to the current financial year with continued revenue growth across all categories.

Looking ahead, Radcliffe said: “As a highly cash generative business with a strong balance sheet, we continue to invest for long-term profitable growth and to increase our returns to shareholders.

“We are confident that Victorian Plumbing’s strategy will continue to deliver long-term value to all stakeholders.”
