IKEA launches new ‘Life at Home’ offering
The first three services to launch include Home Move & Setup, Energy Services and the IKEA Family Credit Card which aim to remove the hassle of relocating, make sustainable energy solutions more accessible for households, and provide customers with flexible home finance options. The Home Move & Setup offering is currently being trialled and delivered in collaboration with Just Move In and aims to take care of many of the most time-consuming tasks involved in a move. This includes managing utility transfers such as gas, electricity, water, and council tax, as well as helping customers to redirect mail, compare and set up broadband, digital media, TV subscriptions, and TV licenses. The offering also supports the physical side of moving with customers being able to access professional assistance with removals, secure storage, and deep cleaning. Meanwhile, Energy Services aims to connect customers with providers who share IKEA’s commitment to quality and sustainability for smarter, more efficient energy solutions, including Aira Heat Pumps and Soly Solar Panels, Batteries, and EV Chargers. The IKEA Family Credit Card provides a payment solution tailored for small to medium ticket purchases. The card offers flexible repayment options and exclusive benefits, both in and out of IKEA. Purchases between £99 and £299 can be paid over three months interest-free, while purchases up to £1,200 and £2,000 can be spread over 10 and 20 month terms respectively. Ashley Hamilton, UKIE customer manager for IKEA, said: “At IKEA, we’ve always been driven by the mission to create a better everyday life for people. “The Life at Home offering reflects this commitment. It’s a comprehensive collection of services that not only makes life at home more convenient and affordable but also empowers our customers to live more sustainably. “With solutions that span moving home, energy and financial services, we’re making it easier for our customers to navigate life’s moments and transitions.”IKEA has unveiled a new ‘Life at Home’ offering that includes a series of expanded services to meet a variety of at-home needs.
