Space NK chief commercial officer to step down
Space NK’s chief commercial officer Margaret Mitchell is to step down after nearly a decade with the business.
Mitchell joined the beauty retailer in 2016 as head of buying and since then has held various senior roles, including global buying director and chief merchandising officer. Prior to that, she worked with Mecca Brands and The Boston Consulting Group.

Last year, Space NK was acquired by Ulta Beauty from previous owner Manzanita Capital. The company reported a record performance in the run-up to Christmas with total business growth of 26% between November and December. Online sales were up 30% supported by the launch of a new app.
In 2025, the company’s store openings included a flagship store in London’s Oxford Street and its biggest shop outside the capital at Birmingham’s Bullring.
