KinKind appoints sales and operations director

Plastic-free bath and body brand KinKind has appointed Paul Brown as sales and operations director.

In his new role, he will lead the expansion of the brand’s products into retail stores.

KinKind said a launch into the retail trade is a natural move for the business. This follows in-depth research which found that 90% of KinKind customers had permanently switched from bottles and were keen to purchase in supermarkets, health stores and chemists, as well as through branded online shops.

Brown’s background includes a number of senior sales executive roles both in the UK and overseas through his 25 year career at household, health and personal care multinational, Reckitt Benckiser.

Following a multi-year TV for equity investment with UKTV Ventures, he is aiming to build the brand’s distribution base to allow KinKind shoppers to buy its products wherever they want, whether it be online or through like-minded grocery, chemist and health stores.
