Kering appoints Romain Spitzer as Bottega Veneta CEO
Kering has appointed Romain Spitzer as chief executive of Bottega Veneta, effective 1 September.
With thirty years of experience in the luxury sector, Spitzer has been serving as president and chief executive of LVMH Beauty’s Fragrance Group, where he oversaw a portfolio of brands including Givenchy, Kenzo, Acqua di Parma and Loewe. He has also previously held senior roles at Yves Saint Laurent Parfums and Parfums Christian Dior.
Subscribe to TRBAt Bottega Veneta, he will report to Kering chief executive Luca de Meo and will join the group’s executive committee.
Kering said Spitzer’s knowledge of global luxury markets and his ability to support the long-term growth of luxury houses make him ideally positioned to lead Bottega Veneta through its next phase of growth. This will include working to further enhance the brand’s desirability, deepen its connection with customers, and drive “retail excellence” across its various markets.
