Yodel appoints Stuart Caldwell as chief financial officer

Former Studio Retail chief financial officer Stuart Caldwell has been appointed to the same role at Yodel.

He will succeed Ben Mitchell who is taking on a new position at the delivery company as chief strategy and planning officer.

Caldwell has nearly 30 years’ experience in finance and earlier in his career held senior financial roles at Provident Financial.

Mike Hancox, chief executive of Yodel, said: “We are continuing to invest heavily in new technology, innovations, and colleagues to handle our increased demand. Stuart brings a wealth of experience to the role, whilst Ben will continue to drive business momentum under his new position as chief strategy & planning officer, reinforcing our commitment to invest in people that will help take the business to the next level.”

Caldwell added: “It is an exciting time to be joining the Yodel team, helping the business to maintain the momentum gained in recent years. I am hugely optimistic about Yodel’s future prospects, and I look forward to finding new opportunities to build the financial support the organisation needs.”
