Virgin Media O2 has opened a new experiential store at London’s Westfield White City as it continues to invest in its UK retail portfolio.
Spanning 3,860 square feet, the store has been designed to showcase mobile, broadband and connected technology through distinct “discovery zones” across an open plan layout.
Subscribe to TRBThese include Gamers Paradise, a TV and broadband area, a Meta Zone, and Priority from O2 where customers can discover Virgin Media O2’s customer rewards programme.
Will Houldsworth, director of retail at Virgin Media O2 said: “Opening this new flagship store at Westfield White City is a hugely exciting moment for Virgin Media O2.
“Westfield is one of the UK’s premier shopping destinations, making it the perfect place for us to create a space where customers can discover, experience and get hands-on with the latest technology.
“This store represents the future of retail for Virgin Media O2 – combining immersive experiences with brilliant customer service and expert support.
“As we continue investing in our stores across the UK, we remain focused on creating spaces that better serve our customers and local communities.”
The store also aims to make it easier for consumers to recycle old or unwanted devices, supporting the company’s wider sustainability targets. Electronics including old mobiles, earphones, wearable tech and cables can all be dropped off and recycled.
