Sales steady at Clinton Cards

Like for like sales for Clinton Cards in the five weeks to 24 December 2006 increased by 1.8 per cent

The rise came from an increase in sales of
Christmas cards and everyday cards of around 5 per cent offset by a decline in gift products which suffered from a scarcity of good new lines this season.
Don Lewin OBE Chairman said “I am also pleased to report that we continue to make progress with the Birthdays brand and like for like sales for Birthdays in the five weeks to 24 December 2006 increased by 3.3 per cent.
As a result Group like for like sales for the five week period increased by 2.1%.
