M&S launches Sparks Preferential Rates on travel money

Marks & Spencer has launched preferential rates on travel money for its 20 million Sparks customers.

Sparks Preferential Rates will be offered on over 50 currencies both online and in 560 stores and will also be available via click & collect and in the retailer’s 96 Bureaux de change.

This marks a significant expansion in the number of stores where customers are able to click & collect currency. M&S said euros and US dollars will be available to collect in minutes of order.

Katherine Carlson, director of financial services at M&S, said: “We want to be able to reward our Sparks customers for their loyalty and what better way to do so than helping their money go further on holiday.

“And with customers now able to pick up their travel money in more of our stores than ever before, it has never been easier to get ready for your holiday with M&S.

“Offering our customers the very best products, services and rewards are a key part of the transformation of our financial services offering and this is just the latest step in that journey.”

The launch of Sparks Preferential Rates and expansion of travel money forms part of a wider transformation of the retailer’s financial services offering.
